Digital Chairty

alkj1980 started this conversation

I was wanting to Post about DigitalChairty.com. Mainly for 2 reasons:

1.) I just wanted to let people who may be new on here know that DigitalCharity.com is a place where you can go to state your case and if you have a Paypal account, then donations can be made directly to it. Your post is viewable by the visitors on Digital Charity and if they choose to they can make a donation to help you.

2.) Not to discourage anyone, but I was wondering if anyone has had a good outcome with Digital Charity? I think that the program is a wonderful idea.  So if there is anyone that wouldn't mind sharing their experience with it, please feel free to post it.  I just think it may give others some ray of hope that have not had much luck with it yet.

Is there any other Donation Sites out there?

Reply to Shylady:---Thankyou for your explanation and I am sorry if I came off a tad harsh. I tend to get very protective of this site because so many come through here and if they can't get money NOW they will tear us down with words. You and I were totally misunderstanding one another but I do understand now. I hope you stick around and join us in helping others with whatever knowledge you have, sometimes just a kind word and relating to their problem can make a world of difference. Thanks again  sheshe030

Actually, I was only aggrevated with digitalcharity which I haven't been on for very long, and was only getting emails from the very kinds of people that digitalcharity itself warns against. Also I'm not a very bright person myself and I have to be very careful not to believe stuff promised by the people who keep promiseing to help me and asking dozens of questions of me when in fact I have even told them things that maybe I shouldn't have. As for aidpage I only just found it last night and was answering an ad I saw about digitalcharity, I wasn't even closely refering to aidpage. I only found aidpage when I was searching online in my frustration against the answers I was getting from digitalcharity. I didn't even know about aidpage till I had to sign up to answer the ad that I answered about digitalcharity. I'm sorry if I caused you any confussion as to what I was truely refering to. I only thought this site was like a forum, I had no idea what it was exactly til I had joined. Only then did I find out exactly what it was, and now you confirmed it for me more.

comment to ShyLady:--So you think there is no help on digital charity sites like aidpage. Accoring to you we're all con-artists that do nothing but ask you dozens of questions over and over and no one has sent you any money at all. There are a lot of scum low life hustlers and loan sharks that come through our pages and anyone with half a brain will ignore them. We ask lots of questions because we try to match you with the resources you need to go to to get money and help. Aidpage has sonderful people that work weeks and months doing hours and hours of research to find the resources to help people like you. You have to do the work of reading pages from the different sites your given. There is tons of help but you have to do the work of finding it. No one is going to spoonfeed you info that just hands overr money. If I tell you to go to WhoKnew or Ekikaseven's sites I expect you to dig into her site and find the resources you need. There is no magic bullet here or anywhere on the net. Aidpage has helped 1000's of people like you but it wasn't by sending them  money. I am sorry you were disappointed  but I sincerely do not think you wanted to put out the effort to find what you needed. I also am very defensive about what you said about this site. You don't have a clue of how much work goes into finding all the info we share for free and the aidpage mates do not get a cent to do all this work. We care, thats the bottom line. sheshe030

It doesn't look too good for anyone whos ask for any help on digital charity so far that I know of. But of course I only just signed up a couple of weeks ago and so did my daughter. I have only gotten emails from people who wanna ask me dozens of questions, and they keep on and keep on asking. Not one person has donated nothing to my daughter whos about to be evicted if she doesn't get her electric bill paid up and back on she'll be out camping as shes been doing without her electric and water on. Everybody just wants to know where she lives so they can send her stuff. And she must have given out her address, against my better judgment but did because she was desperate did it, about 10 times already. This digitalcharity site looks like a con artists, and hustlers, playground. Even the loan sharks come out to play. Sad to say!
